# Laravel Shift > Laravel Shift is an automated service that upgrades Laravel applications and refactors PHP code, supporting upgrades from Laravel 4.2 through the latest release. Shift connects to a GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket repository and opens a pull request with the changes needed to move to the next Laravel version - dependency bumps, deprecated API replacements, and code style fixes included. Pricing is pay-as-you-go per Shift ($9-$39) or an annual Shifty Plan ($99/year) for unlimited automated upgrades. Shift for Docker allows running Shifts locally when code can't be shared. ## Docs - [FAQ](https://laravelshift.com/faq): Frequently asked questions on how Shift works, pricing, and support. - [Available Shifts](https://laravelshift.com/shifts): Run over 30 different Shifts to upgrade Laravel, Livewire, Lumen, PHP, and Tailwind projects. - [Can I upgrade Laravel?](https://laravelshift.com/can-i-upgrade-laravel): Check Composer dependency compatibility before upgrading Laravel. - [Shifty Plans](https://laravelshift.com/shifty-plans): Subscription plan for automated, ongoing Laravel upgrades. - [Shift for Docker](https://laravelshift.com/docker): Run any Shift locally using Docker. - [Human Shifts](https://laravelshift.com/human-shifts): Human services to upgrade, modernize, or review a Laravel application's architecture. - [Workbench](https://laravelshift.com/workbench): Over 60 automated tasks for maintaining and modernizing Laravel and PHP code. - [Shift API](https://laravelshift.com/shift-api): Trigger Shifts using the Shift API. - [.shiftrc configuration](https://laravelshift.com/shiftrc-configuration-file): Customize Shift's behavior via a .shiftrc file. ## Optional - [Videos](https://laravelshift.com/videos): Demos of Shift's services and workflow. - [Knowledge Base](https://laravelshift.com/knowledge-base): Troubleshooting for common Shift errors. - [Terms of Service](https://laravelshift.com/terms-of-service) - [Privacy Policy](https://laravelshift.com/privacy-policy)
